Privacy policy

Last updated: 7 September 2026

We built Impugna on a decision made up front: the app does not need your data to work, so we do not ask for it. This document describes exactly what happens to the information that passes through the application.

1. Who is responsible

Impugna is developed and distributed by Alejandro Hernández Mitre, an independent developer enrolled in the Apple Developer Program and based in Mexico. For anything related to this policy, write to bedr10_capacitacion@hotmail.com.

2. What personal data we collect

None. Impugna does not collect, transmit or store personal data on our servers or on any third party's.

The app requires no account, asks for no name, email, phone number, tax ID or device identifier, and includes no analytics, advertising, install-attribution or cross-app tracking tooling.

3. What stays on your device

Everything you type or capture inside Impugna — the details of the act you are challenging, your questionnaire answers, the generated drafts and the exported documents — is stored locally on your iPhone, inside the app container protected by the operating system.

If you enable iCloud sync, that information is replicated into your own iCloud account, under your control and subject to Apple's terms. We have no access to that container and cannot read it.

You can erase everything at any time by deleting the files inside the app or by uninstalling it. We keep no copy, because we never receive one.

4. Camera and photos

If you choose to capture the official notice with the camera or to pick an image from your library, the image is processed on the device to extract its text. Neither the image nor the text is sent to us or to any third party. Permission is requested only at the moment you decide to use that feature, and you can revoke it in system settings.

5. On-device artificial intelligence

Assisted drafting runs on the Apple Intelligence models available on the device itself. Impugna does not send your text to our servers or to any external language-model provider.

The model never generates legal references: citations are resolved against a corpus bundled with the app and taken verbatim from the official publications of the Mexican Chamber of Deputies. The model only rewrites the prose around them.

6. Subscription

Impugna Pro is purchased, billed, renewed and cancelled through your Apple Account on the App Store. The transaction happens entirely between you and Apple: we neither receive nor store your name, address or payment details. From Apple we receive only aggregated, anonymous sales reports that identify no individual.

Apple's handling of that data is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not by this one.

7. Data Apple collects, not us

If you have the system's “Share app analytics” option enabled, Apple may receive crash reports and aggregated usage metrics. That collection is performed by Apple under its own policies, and we can see only aggregated statistics in App Store Connect, with no personal identifiers. You can turn it off in Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Analytics & Improvements.

8. Children

Impugna is a professional tool for people who practise law. It is neither designed for nor directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect information from them.

9. Your rights

Mexican data-protection law recognises your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection. Because we hold no personal data of yours, there is no record on our side to consult, correct or delete: control stays with you and is exercised from the device.

Even so, if you believe some information of yours reached us by any route — an email you sent to support, for instance — write to bedr10_capacitacion@hotmail.com and we will delete it within thirty calendar days.

10. Changes to this policy

If a future feature ever required processing personal data, we would update this document before shipping that version of the app, change the date in the header and describe precisely what is collected and why. We will not make that change quietly.

11. Contact

Privacy questions, deletion requests or anything else related to this policy: bedr10_capacitacion@hotmail.com. We reply within 48 business hours.
